Why else does anyone think that the Broncos would give a QB who is one hit away from drinking through a straw for the rest of his life a 5 year contract? Simple, they really wanted to get rid of Tim Tebow. Just because Elway looks like Gary Busey doesn’t mean he’s crazy. He knows a real quarterback when he sees one. I’m just worried that Elway is seeing the Manning from 2 years ago, and not the Manning that has had 4 neck surgeries. Either way Elway has completed his goal of getting rid of Tebow. Elway better hope for his sake that Manning holds up for at least 2 years if he wants to justify this decision.

P.S.- Anyone who says Manning isn’t greedy is just stupid. He obviously went to the place that offered him the most green, rather than the best chance to win a Super Bowl.

Thank the Lord, Tebow Time has finally ended. The only question now is where Tim Tebow will go now? Peyton has left a couple of teams in a tough place now that they’ve spent all free agency pursuing one player. The 49ers will probably crawl back to Alex Smith on their hands and knees, but the Dolphins are still in need of a QB. I never thought that I would ever say this, but I am in favor of the Patriots trading for Tebow if it means that they screw over the Dolphins. I actually just threw up in my mouth a little bit while typing this, but I managed to keep it down.  I just have to keep telling myself that Tebow would actually ever see the field as a QB if he were to play for the Patriots. Either way Tebow time is officially over and I am extremely thankful. I would like to thank Jim Irsay and John Elway, even though I hate Irsay and Elway has teeth like an actual horse. Either way I have to thank them for their integral parts in ending Tebow Time. Thank You.

How big of a kick in the balls would it be to the Broncos if Manning got hurt and they traded Tebow? That’s a ticket to the basement of the NFL for a good half a century.

I don’t know if there is any more evidence that Linsanity is over than a bunch of Jeremy Lin merchandise with 50% off stickers all over it. You mean to tell me that some point guard from nowhere who has only started a handful of games isn’t a top 5 point guard? Preposterous!!! That a player who turns the ball over and couldn’t guard a pole isn’t a better player than every other PG in the NBA? Ya don’t say? Maybe Jeremy Lin should have waited until his first season was over to get off of Fields couch. Maybe next time the NY media won’t crown some no name player he puts up numbers on a consistent basis, but I doubt it. Not to worry though, in a month or two we should have another athlete who rockets to super stardom only to fall just as fast, straight into the bargain bin.

P.S.- Someone tell Lin to say whats up to Tim Tebow.

With reports surfacing that the Broncos are going to make a push to sign Peyton Manning, this may signal the end of Tebow-Mania, something that I have eagerly awaited. For too long I have been subjected to the over hyping and over publicizing of a sub par quarterback with the accuracy of a civil war musket. Are Denver Broncos fans so desperate for the next coming of John Elway that they will put up with watching their quarterback throw only 5 passes in a game,  4 of which are straight into the ground? Are you kidding me? Anyway you look at this, getting Peyton Manning is the best move for the Broncos at the QB position. I don’t care if Peyton’s whole right side was f****** paralyzed the Broncos should still make him an offer. If the Broncos staff had to wheel Peyton out onto the field in a wheelchair he would still have a better throwing motion than Tebow. It’s about time the Elway see the writing on the wall and move on from this circus act that is, actually was, Tebow-Mania. Since I doubt that Tim Tebow will start believing in evolution and develop a passing game anytime soon, Elway better make Peyton an offer he can’t refuse.

This is yet another thing that I can, and will, blame on Tim Tebow. If it wasn’t for the fans in Denver putting up their billboard for Tebow, Miami fans wouldn’t have even thought of this. My only question for the fans in Miami is why do you even want Manning? I know that many fans in Miami would have probably taken a paralyzed Peyton Manning over what they had this season but it’s the off-season now. The Dolphins can have their pick of QBs from the draft or pick up a player on the free agent market, and yet the fans want Manning? You want a guy who has had 4 neck surgeries and whose arm was described as a “noodle”? I’m not saying that Miami fans are stupid to want Peyton Manning on their team at this point in his career, but they are Dolphins fans after all.

Who is Brady Quinn to say anything about another quarterback in the NFL? I mean Tim Tebow sucks, so what does that say for Brady Quinn? You get cut from the Cleveland Browns and when you get on the Broncos you can’t even beat out Tim Tebow? You can’t beat out a guy who only throws the football 5 times a game, with 3 of those throws going straight into the ground, and you call yourself a quarterback? The only part of your argument that’s even plausible is the part about Tebow praying on the field in front of the cameras for attention. That was kind of plausible before I remembered that Brady Quinn went to Notre Dame, where football is tied to religion as Tim Tebow is. Brady Quinn should have just told everyone the truth. He should have just said that the Broncos defense is the only reason that they won any games. Instead he went after Tim Tebow because he knew it would get people talking about him, then took to Twitter to apologize. Well mission accomplished Quinn, people are talking about you now. You just better hope that NFL teams are talking when you get released from the Broncos, but I doubt it. No matter how much I don’t like Tim Tebow as a player, but he would never let any pictures like this come out. And this isn’t the only picture of Brady Quinn doing this with other guys. Maybe Quinn doesn’t like Tebow because he wouldn’t pose for a picture with him?

This is the type of shit that drives me crazy about ESPN. They have this poll up on their site asking who the best point guard in the NBA is. These are your 5 choices in the order they appear in the poll: Jeremy Lin, Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose, and Someone Else. I don’t know about you but one of these point guards is not like the other, and that point guard is Jeremy Lin. Are you kidding me ESPN? Lin has played 5 games. The other guys on this list have played for 5 seasons. And it’s not like this is all ESPN’s fault either, because the voters deserve just as much blame. According to the voters, Jeremy Lin is basically the number 3 point guard in the league, ahead of Rajon Rondo. The same Rajon Rondo who just put up a triple double to beat the Bulls minus Derrick Rose, who was voted the number 1 point guard. So actually the voters deserve 95% of the fault. How do you even justify putting someone who only played 5 games ahead of someone who just dropped a triple-double against one of the best teams in the league? Doesn’t even make sense. The other 5% of the blame goes to ESPN for even putting Lin’s name in this poll. I know they are tying to capitalize on Lin’s success, but are they really so quick to hop on that train so fast? Did they not learn from Tim Tebow? ESPN is like a girl in middle school with a different crush every week. Grow up ESPN, grow up.

Peyton, does anyone like a quarterback with a noodle arm? You should probably ask Tebow how a quarterback with a noodle arm makes it in the NFL. On second thought he’ll probably just tell you that he’s blessed so don’t even bother. Hopefully Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon like to catch the 5 yard slant. Somethings telling me that right now Peyton would have a tough time holding that cell phone up.

Does anyone else feel like Jeremy Lin is the basketball version of Tim Tebow? Someone who comes in for a struggling franchise and wins a few games, and is all the sudden the best player on that team. Not to mention that Lin also has an underdog story and is also outspoken in his religious beliefs. Seems to be a perfect match. How about this time we wait more than 10 minutes before we label him as the best thing since slice bread, and hope he doesn’t fall from stardom as fast as Tebow.

Does anyone truly believe that once Carmelo and Stoudemire are back that this kid is going to be scoring as many points as he is now? I don’t think so.

Terrell Suggs is 100% right about Skip Bayless. In my opinion this is one of the nicer things that Suggs could have said to Bayless. If you get a chance to listen to the whole video, which is about 11 minutes long, you’ll understand. Bayless continually pounds Suggs with questions about what went wrong in the game, and tries to get Suggs to second guess his coach and teammates. When Suggs doesn’t fall for that, Bayless then tries to take Suggs words out of context probably to get a quick soundbite. Skip Bayless needs to get taken off ESPN, plain and simple. All he does is spout his nonsense about players such as his biggest man crush, Tim Tebow. Skip Bayless is in no way, shape, or form a sports analyst, nor will he ever be one. Every time I hear him talk he is constantly arguing and talking over someone else in order to get his so-called point, which is usually wrong, across. Every professional athlete who has ever had to talk with Skip Bayless should thank Terrell Suggs for calling him out. Here’s a guy fresh off one, if not the, worst loss in his professional football career taking time out of his day, and this is how Bayless treats him? Give the guy a break. That was pure and simply unprofessional by Bayless. He deserved much worse than what Suggs called him.
