Tim Tebow has recently taken his whole Christian good boy campaign to a whole new level. First he has issued cease and desist orders to multiple companies demanding that they stop producing t-shirts with what his lawyers are saying is his “likeness”, even though some of the shirts have no image of Tebow. Here is one of the examples in question.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t see anything that represents Tim Tebow’s likeness in this shirt. Unless Tebow and his lawyers actually believe that he is Jesus, I don’t know what they hope to achieve here. Now Tebow has demanded that a picture taken backstage on Broadway with 4 woman be removed from Twitter due to his “image”. My question now is, does that make Tim Tebow’s image fake? I mean if that was really his image wouldn’t he not have posed for that picture? If that was his image, wouldn’t he have looked a little uncomfortable? He looks pretty comfortable to me. I’m just saying that maybe the image that Tebow has portrayed up to this point isn’t really his real image after all. Who knows? Hey Tim, if you don’t want your picture to end up on Twitter next time, don’t take it. Simple.

What does Antonio Cromartie’s wife do when she suspects that he is cheating on her? What any other sane woman would do, fake her own suicide. Simple. I mean she did have a legitimate concern about Cromartie cheating on her since he does have 10 kids with 8 woman, but faking your own suicide on Twitter is probably not the way to go about it. Not to worry though, Terricka said that she was exercising her 1st Amendment Right of Free Speech. I doubt that she even knows the name of all her step children, never mind the Constitution.

Why is this kid even on Jeopardy? I know that he is probably incredibly smart in other categories, but if you don’t know then don’t answer the question. I know that they may have not shown the picture right away but there’s no excuses in Jeopardy because Alex doesn’t play that shit. Instead of that question they should have gone with one like this that better describes Eli Manning-

Who is this New York quarterback who always has a remedial look on his face and recently appeared on SNL?

I bet that Kevin would have absolutely nailed that one. Who is Mark Sanchez?

Junior Seau was found dead at his home in California. The longtime NFL linebacker was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his chest. Seau has shown “suicidal” tendencies in the past. You may remember that Seau had previously tried to commit suicide by driving his SUV off a cliff in California. Sad to see such a great player go out this way. You will be missed Junior.

“If there is a decision I could take back it’s easily that decision,” Mangini said. “Never in a million years would I have wanted it to go this way. It’s disappointing whenever it comes up. It’s regret, it’s disappointment, it’s all of those things. Because I know what it took to win those Super Bowls and I have so much respect for the people that were involved there. I’m disappointed that this is what it’s translated into. Never in a million years did I expect it to play out like this,” Mangini said. “This is one of those situations where I didn’t want them to do the things they were doing. I didn’t think it was any kind of significant advantage, but I wasn’t going to give them the convenience of doing it in our stadium, and I wanted to shut it down. But there was no intent to get the league involved. There was no intent to have the landslide that it has become.”

Well, well, well. Look who regrets turning on the Dark Side. I wonder when Mangini started regretting his decision? Was it when no team wanted to hire him? Was it when he had to take a job as an NFL analyst with the forced out and retired coaches? You really thought that being a snitch was going to work out for you and your career? He doesn’t regret that he informed, he regrets what happened because he informed. Those are two different things. Even he says that it didn’t provide an advantage. Mangini basically just wanted to stick it to Belichick and it backfired. Now he’s on ESPN and Belichick is still coaching. That’s what happens when you try to disrupt the force.

Great move by the Greg Schiano and the Buccaneers here. A true feel good story in a time where those are becoming harder and harder to find. Great to see that Eric LeGrand is having his dream of being signed by an NFL team. On top of that this is still a better signing than anyone that the Jets drafted.

“Hey John I got 5 rings, how many you have? Oh yeah I forgot. Zero.”

John Harbaugh-

“In the end, everything is brought before the light of day, when it’s all said and done,” Harbaugh said on “98 Rock” in Baltimore. “What happens, even the thing in New England, no matter whether those things had any impact on whether they won their championships or not, they got asterisks now. It’s been stained. To me, it’s never worth it. You have to figure out ways to use the rules to your advantage; you have to figure out ways to make the most of everything. We have new work rules here as far as what we can do and what we can’t do with our players, and we’re going to make the most of it. What we’re finding is, ‘Man, maybe we can do some things even better than we did before, because these rules make us focus more on some things that we didn’t focus on before.’ You just have to make them work for you. That’s what success is in the world. You have to find a way to do things better than somebody else. But if you’re cheating, in the end, you’re going to get discredited. It’s not worth it.”

Tedy Brushci jumped to the Patriots defense on ESPN with this-

“You want to take a shot, go ahead and say it. When I look down at my hand and I see championship rings, I know how much work had to be put in to win those championships. I’m very set and secure with all of the victories that we had, the work we put in. I don’t know what the Patriots organization or Coach Belichick has to do to prove how good he is as a head coach or how good those players were or how good that organization is. Coach Belichick belongs in the same breath as Vince Lombardi and coach Paul Brown, those types of coaches. That’s who he is, that’s where he belongs. The shot at Coach Belichick I don’t understand. When Coach Harbaugh was interviewing for the job in Baltimore, it was Coach Belichick that vouched for him. There’s a little bit of loyalty that Coach Harbaugh needs to learn.”

Harbaugh then “clarified” his comments-

“I have so much respect for Coach Belichick and the job he does and has accomplished in his Hall of Fame career,” he said. “I called him to remind him of my respect for him. I also reached out to Tedy Bruschi, who rightfully defended those Patriot players and coaches on ESPN, to tell him that I agree with him that the Patriots earned every victory.”

This is what I love about the Patriots and being a Patriots fan. If one person says something stupid, another Patriot jumps in to defend them. I love what Tedy Bruschi did here. Oh, you want to talk bad about the Patriots and their championships John Harbaugh? Didn’t Belichick help you get your job? Yeah I thought so. My only question is why would Harbaugh even say something like this? Is he really still that mad about the AFC Championship game? It’s not the Patriots fault that your coaching staff and kicker shit their pants when the game was on the line. No amount of tape could cause that. I don’t even really understand why some Patriots fans take offense to people talking about the Spygate thing anyway. Spygate is just used as an excuse by shitty teams to make themselves feel good by saying that the Patriots cheated. That’s fine with me. If you don’t think that your favorite team, and a majority of the league, doesn’t do it too than your ignorant. What’s you should really be worried about is that your favorite team sucks so bad that taping still doesn’t help them.

Now that all the hype from the draft has ended, lets take a look at who the Patriots drafted.

Round 1-

DE- Chandler Jones

LB- Dont’a Hightower

Round 2-

S- Tavon Wilson

We all knew that there was going to be one pick in the draft where everyone was going to ask what Belichick was thinking. This was that pick. Before the Patriots drafted him, Wilson wasn’t even ranked in the top 300 players in some reports. Wasn’t invited to the combine either. But we all know that Belichick loves players who are multi talented, and this is one of those guys. Good solid tackler with the ability to blitz and play special teams. Should be interesting to see where and how Belichick plays Wilson.

Round 3-

DE- Jake Bequette

A DE who could also see some snaps standing up at OLB. Bequette can rush from either side and is the versatile player that Belichick loves.

Round 6-

S- Nate Ebner

Everyone is talking about Ebner and this video and just watching you can see why. Dude has speed for days and reaches a top gear just about as fast as anyone I’ve ever seen. Anyone who is willing to tackle without pads while playing rugby is good in my book. I don’t know if rugby skills transfer to football skills, but if they do then some NFL players are going to be in trouble. Look for Ebner to be a special teams star for the Patriots.

Round 7-

CB- Alfonzo Dennard

Was projected to be a 2nd round pick until he “allegedly” punched a cop in the face outside a bar. Could be one of the biggest steals of the draft for the Patriots, and will definitely be a big help to a the secondary.

WR- Jeremy Ebert

Not sure how this pick is going to workout. Patriots already more WRs on the roster than I can ever remember them having. Unless Edelman is going to switch to DB for good which I doubt is going to happen, I think that Ebert might end up putting Edelman out of a job. Look for Ebert to be a Welker 3.0.

Bobby Wagner, now a Seattle Seahawk, was actually on his way to the bathroom when he received a call from the Seahawks telling him that they were going to draft him. When the Seahawks actually made the pick and his name went across the screen, Wagner was actually going to the bathroom. Pretty ironic that Wagner was drafted in the same place that his new team often is. In the shitter.

I mean really what does Mel Kiper Jr. do? Is he a NFL draft specialist? Just sits watching football and making up his mock drafts. And he’s not even that good at that. Out of the first 17 picks this year, he only got 5 right. That’s like knowing that you have a whole year to study for a test and get a 29% halfway through the first half. I bet you that about 180 days leading up to the draft are spent doing his hair and making sure that it’s just right so he can go on air and argue with Todd McShay about 2 inches for hours on end. Pretty sweet job if you can get it.
