Another Chris Paul trade comes and goes, this time with the Los Angeles Clippers being the prospective team for Paul. The trade would send Paul to the Clippers for a first round pick, Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and Eric Bledsoe. Seems like a lot for one player. I can see that the Clippers want to have another big time player besides Blake Griffin, but they can’t trade their whole team to do so. My only question is if David Stern owns the Hornets, then why don’t the Hornets run the deals through him first? Wouldn’t this speed up the process a little bit? He probably would have rejected this anyway. There’s no way that he could allow a 5 for 1 player trade to occur after he rejected the 3 team deal with the Lakers and Rockets. Stern just needs to dump the Hornets as fast as he can, because it’s really helping no one, and making the NBA look really bad. No wonder all the owners are broke.
