Just when it looked like the Marlins were going to land Albert Pujols, the Angels come out of nowhere and sign him to a 10 year, $250 Million deal, which if you happened to read my last post on Pujols, was what I predicted it to be. So as usual people are freaking out, comparing Pujols to LeBron James, saying he has no loyalty. Breaking news for those who don’t know, loyalty goes out the window when your dealing with $250 Million. You’d do it too, believe me. But the point still remains that this is contractually a bad deal in my eyes. The Angels are stuck with a $25 Million a year player for 10 years no matter what. I wouldn’t be surprised if this either makes or breaks  the Angels for the next 10-15 years.
