When someone says MVP, I usually think about the player who’s played the best in the NFL this year. This year maybe we should look at it a different way. Who then is the Most Valuable player? Peyton Manning. I grew up hating the Colts, but this season shows just how much Peyton means to them. Usually when the Patriots play the Colts you think of two of the best QB’s, and teams, in history going up against each other, preferably in snow. This year the image that comes to mind is more of best vs. worst scenario. How else can you explain how a team goes from making the playoffs every season to 0-11? It’s not like the other Manning is the QB. Then at least it would be plausible that a team could suck that bad. Like it or not, Peyton Manning may be the MVP of the NFL.
