With all this talk about the undefeated Green Bay Packers, it’s no wonder that seemingly no one is talking about the 8-1 San Francisco 49ers. This probably has a little bit to do with their ease of schedule, but it doesn’t get much harder from here on in. The only two games they really have to worry about are against Baltimore and Pittsburgh. The rest of their games are against relatively easy opponents. That means that it is very possible for them to go 13-3 to finish the season. This is after going 8-8 under Mike Singletary last year. This year they will win the NFC West and assuming the Packers don’t collapse, be second in the NFC. Pretty good for a team that went 8-8 last year if you ask me.
